Curriculum
Curriculum
Utilizing a blend of the Montessori and Waldorf approach, our curriculum uses 'real-life' experiences as well as imagination and play to build and expand on knowledge. We are an academic preschool and we follow the Ages & Stages Questionnaires for assessments.
We are a small school, therefore we guarantee your child getting 1/1 attention, as well as an Individualized Education Plan based on their needs and abilities

Goals & Objectives
Goals & Objectives
Cognitive Development
- Each day will present the opportunity for the development of the thinking process, memory, imagination and problem solving.
Social Development
- Each day will provide the opportunity to promote the development of skills such as cooperation-operation in constructive conflict resolution, social awareness, respect for oneself and for others. It will also afford growth in appreciation of personal property and the property of others as well as the acceptance that everyone is different.
Language Development
- Each day will provide opportunities to encourage the development of communication skills necessary to organize and formulate thoughts and feelings known to others. ASK QUESTIONS: READ DAILY. We teach basic Spanish and American Sign Language
Emotional Development
- Each day will provide opportunities to help children recognize and express emotions appropriately, to develop and show empathy and to learn themselves and practice self-discipline. Music expression is a key tool we use in developing listening skills and positive, creative expressive outlets.
Physical Development
- Weather permitting: EACH DAY WE WILL GO OUTSIDE! Each day will provide opportunities for the development of fine and gross motor skills (jumping, running, tying, hopping, coloring, zipping, etc.)
Self-Help Development
- Each day will provide for the development of the skills needed for a child to become independent and acquire self-awareness of their ability to take care of their basic needs: through observation, play and daily lesson (drinking from cups, using utensils, potty-training, putting on clothes, etc)
